Gingerbread Protein Latte

Fall is my favorite time of year for flavors.  I can’t get enough of all the warming spices, broths, hot drinks and the occasional paleo baked good.  I had a craving for gingerbread so satisfied it with this gingerbread protein keto latte!


I add just one tsp of unsulphured blackstrap molasses to give it that deep brown sugar note, and one tsp only adds about 3g of sugar.  Molasses in its natural form like this is actually a good source of vitamin B6 and iron. 


I like to buy *Ceylon cinnamon, since most cinnamon sold in the stores is cassia, which is from the bark of a tree but is not true cinnamon and doesn’t provide the health benefits of true cinnamon.
